Game purchase checklist

Before You Buy a DLsite Game

This checklist helps you review a downloadable game before purchase. DoujinRadar does not guarantee compatibility or operation. Confirm current requirements on the official product listing and DLsite Help Center.

Last reviewed:

1. Confirm the product language

The language used by the DLsite storefront and the language included with a game are separate. An English store interface does not mean that menus, dialogue, instructions, or other game content are available in English.

Review the language information, description, and notices on the official listing. Do not treat a translated discovery summary as proof of the language included with the product.

2. Check the operating system and device

Check the official listing for the supported operating system, OS version, 32-bit or 64-bit requirements, required specifications, and whether the game supports a PC or mobile device. These conditions differ by product and can change when a listing is updated.

DoujinRadar does not verify a game against your hardware. Do not assume that a PC download runs on a phone, tablet, Mac, Linux device, or a newer operating system unless the official listing says so.

3. Check required software and authentication

Look for notices about additional runtimes, a dedicated application, authentication, serial codes, locale settings, or other launch requirements. If a requirement is not stated, DoujinRadar does not infer one.

Follow official setup and authentication instructions. This guide does not provide methods for bypassing security features, authentication, or regional restrictions, and it does not recommend unofficial patches.

4. Review the download and installation notes

Before purchasing, review any listed file format, download size, split-file instructions, extraction steps, installer notes, and launch procedure. The available method depends on the product.

DoujinRadar does not host game files, installers, or samples. For the general account, purchase, and post-purchase flow, read the DLsite buying guide. DLsite's officialPlaying Games guideexplains that launch and authentication steps can vary by product type.

5. Confirm price, payment, and availability

Check the current price, sale status, availability, and purchase total on DLsite immediately before completing a transaction. Information shown on DoujinRadar may be hidden when source freshness cannot be confirmed, and the official listing and checkout take priority.

Payment options can vary by region, account, purchase, and time. Use the options shown during checkout and review DLsite's currentAvailable Payment Methodsarticle rather than relying on a fixed list in this guide.

6. Read samples and official notices

If the official listing provides a trial version, video, images, creator notice, or support note, review it there. DoujinRadar does not guarantee that a sample exists and does not redistribute samples or product files.

Pay particular attention to notices that change installation, language, authentication, or support expectations. Do not download a game or patch from an unofficial source linked outside DLsite's product or support pages.

7. Quick pre-purchase checklist

Confirm each item on the current official listing before continuing:

  • Game language
  • Operating system and device
  • Required specifications
  • Required software or authentication
  • Download and installation notes
  • Current price and payment availability
  • Official notices and support information

8. If something is unclear

For a question about compatibility, product files, authentication, an account, payment, or a transaction, use the official listing andDLsite Help Center. DoujinRadar cannot inspect a device or DLsite account and does not provide official store support.

For the current store purchase flow, see DLsite'sPurchasing Products guide. Contact DoujinRadar only for an error, broken link, or display problem on this site.
